About Dr. Elsagga

Dr. Elsagga attended Gulf Coast Community College and graduated with an Associate of Arts Degree in Biology in 2000 with a perfect 4.0 grade point average.
He matriculated to the University of Florida and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology and Cell Science in 2003 with honors.

He was awarded the degree of Medical Doctor from the University Of Florida in 2007. Following his completion of medical school, he finished an internship in Internal Medicine and then completed a residency in Neurology.

After completing medical school, he served as a teacher at the University of Florida, College of Medicine in the Departments of Internal Medicine and Neurology. He also participated in research regarding stroke patients.

He has also lectured on several topics relating to Neurology with special emphasis on strokes. Dr. Elsagga is a member of The American Medical Association and the American Association of Neurology.

He has volunteered at the Equal Access Clinic and the St. Francis Homeless Shelter.
